State Bar Exam Guide

Generic placeholder for bar exam planning. State-by-state pages (deadlines, formats, cut scores) will be added later.

UBE, NextGen, and state exams

Many jurisdictions use the Uniform Bar Exam (MBE, MEE, MPT) or are adopting the NextGen UBE. Others keep state-specific components. Always confirm the format for the exam administration you will sit.

Eligibility and logistics

Bar admission typically requires a JD (or approved alternative path in limited states), character & fitness, and a passing exam score. Register early—seating and laptop requirements fill up.

How to structure prep

Treat bar study like a full-time job for roughly 8–10+ weeks: learn rules, drill questions, write essays/MPTs, and take practice exams. Track weak subjects weekly and adjust.

Where AcedExams fits

Use examiner-aligned outlines and practice throughout law school so bar prep is reinforcement—not a first exposure to tested topics.
